S|AM GOLF 2022 returns to Black Rock Country Club for our 11th annual charity event. This year's event again features celebrity guest host Steve DeOssie, the former Boston College, NFL, and Super Bowl local legend. Plus, this year's on-course prize opportunities include the chance to win $25k in our putting contest, or drive away in a brand new BMW X5 on our hole-in-one contest sponsored by South Shore BMW. Our goal this year is to raise $50,000 — and we cannot hit that goal without your help!

Black Rock CC is recognized as one of the region's premier private golf courses. At this family-oriented club on Boston's South Shore, we will again tee it up for very worthy children's charities and causes in the Greater New England area. A couple of our benefactors are Camp Sunshine and Fragile Footprints.

Camp Sunshine is a year-round retreat and program combining respite, recreation and support. They enable hope and promote joy for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families through the various stages of a child’s illness.

Fragile Footprints is a pediatric palliative care program designed to complement existing services to meet the needs of eligible children with life-limiting illness and their families by helping the parents identify resources and fill unmet needs. Children, their siblings, schools and other health care providers are supported by a compassionate, specially trained team of pediatricians, nurses, social workers, child life specialists, volunteers, spiritual care and complimentary therapy practitioners.

S|A Maraia Charities is proud to partner with these two great organizations. Each exemplifies the many reasons we invite you to join us on the golf course and make a difference in the lives of children and their families in our area.

What else can you do today? For all others unable to golf but wanting to help, please consider making a tax-deductible donation or sponsoring some portion of the event. See more details on our website.

See you next week,
