Now that summer is in full swing, S|A Maraia Charities is proud to announce that we will soon be returning to Black Rock Country Club for our 12th annual charity event. In memory of our mother, Angele Maraia, who passed earlier this year, we hope you'll join us for our annual tournament and fundraiser benefitting children in Greater New England.
Our goal is to again raise over $50,000 — this year with the help of our exciting new partnership! Dormie Network is an immersive experience for the golf purist, offering full member access to seven unique clubs all under a single dues structure. Nationwide cities include: Charlotte, Houston, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Nashville, New York, Omaha, Philadelphia, Raleigh-Durham, San Antonio, and St. Louis.
Whether it’s business or pleasure that brings you to a Dormie Network club, an onsite concierge will help you plan the perfect trip. 9 or 36 holes? Dinner ready at the clubhouse as you wrap up on the 18th? Gifts waiting in your guests’ rooms as they arrive? Dormie will have your clubs waiting on your cart, nameplate on your cottage door, and meet you at the turn with refreshments. As structured or unstructured an itinerary as you prefer — Dormie will do everything they can to make your trip unforgettable.
For this year's S|AM Golf Tournament and Fundraiser, the Dormie Network is donating "One Year Memberships" for auction with all proceeds benefitting Camp Sunshine. This annual full membership donation has a retail value of $30,000 and, as an auction item, it requires a minimum bid of $7,500. Also note, Dormie Network Foundation™ supports nonprofit organizations nationwide through two initiatives: in-kind donations and direct cash grants, focusing on the four giving pillars of youth golf, environmental initiatives, military / first responder organizations, and healthcare / humanitarian efforts.

Black Rock CC is recognized as one of the region's premier private golf courses. At this family-oriented club on Boston's South Shore, we will again tee it up for very worthy children's charities and causes in the Greater New England area. All proceeds from S|AM Golf 2023 benefit Camp Sunshine at Lake Sebago in Casco, Maine.
Camp Sunshine is a year-round retreat and program combining respite, recreation and support. They enable hope and promote joy for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families through the various stages of a child’s illness.
